Brand Boost Challenge #12 - BRAND GUIDE CREATION
You’ve done it! You’ve completed the 12-day Brand Boost Challenge! How awesome are you!?
It was a lot of hard thinking and really focusing on what makes your business tick, but it’ll give your business the boost it deserves.
Now it’s time to pull together all the hard work into one living document called a Brand Identity Guide. This allows you to not only reference all the decisions you’ve made, but also for others to learn and understand what makes your business YOUR business.
Although I don’t want you to be overwhelmed with exactly how it looks, it’s a great idea to search for “brand guides” or “brand identity guide” for inspiration on how other companies document theirs.
So let’s finish the LAST challenge!
First, gather up all the information from Task #1 - Task #11.
Take a look through it and make any new notes that you may want to include or add.
Using Powerpoint or a free program like Canva.com, begin by creating a page for each Task you’ve completed. I.e. “Compeition”, “Logo”, “Essence”, etc.
Include all your hard work for each page in a nice, clean, concise manner.
Make sure you use your new typefaces, colors, and maybe even supportive graphics when creating the document! You can even throw in some of your imagery that matches your brand.
Save it so that you can edit it later, but also save it as a nice PDF that you can send to others who would need to know your brand!
That’s it! You’ve done it!
Not everyone has put the effort you have into their business, so don’t take this work lightly. Be proud of yourself. The hard work will show and your customers will notice a difference.
I’d love to see what you’ve accomplished. Please share a view of your hard work on social and tag me @laurenaustincreative, or email me. I love to hear feedback - good or bad.
